Staph Infection, Scalp Infection, Follicullitis

Thanksgiving 2015

Love and Light continue to stream through the days.  I wanted to get back to this blog to record the report from my biopsy.  I am very glad I do not have the demodex parasites!  I know I had them because the burrows were all over my scalp from them tracking around.  But this particular biopsy showed none. Yeah!
Looks like that herbal rinse from my Chinese Acupuncturist did the job.

My scalp is still infected however. The LAB called it chronic folliculitis. I had two friends in the follicles.
"There is a follicle that is surrounded by lymphocytes and histiocytes."  Now who are these guys and what are they doing there?

The quest to discover the origin of this case is still ongoing.  How did I get what I have on my head? Four years now and counting.

Don't forget to ask your Chinese Acupuncturist to give you something to stop the itch of it all.  These little
pills she gave me take the sting, crawl and itch off of my scalp.  Love YOU.

P.S.  Your acupuncturist is able to give you to boost your immune system.

There is so much about my scalp that is better after using the Chinese rinse on my hair and scalp, I am so thankful, so grateful, please find your Chinese doctor and their herbal medicine today.

  1. This is the only post in three years of research that I find matches my symptoms of hairs cemented into the scalp and layers of matted debris and building blocking blood flow and new hair growth

    1. I know how you are feeling. Please try to find a Chinese herbalist or acupuncturist, it really helps with the layers and drys the secretions too.

  2. Lymphocytes are white blood cells that are a sign of your immune system fighting a pathogen. Histiocytes are a type of macrophage (think clean up crew after white blood cells and pathogen have a battle) that also point to immune system working. If the test did not show a bacteria or a virus in the tissue, please consider a fungal overgrowth. I've done so much research and you are the only person who described the symptoms clearly and in full. I've found many "cures" but not anyone else with similar symptoms.

    1. I was tested for the fungus, didn't have fungus.
The diagnosis was chronic folliculitis because every thing they tested me for wasn't there. So that begs for more information, a deeper search.

  3. Most likely the eastern medicine treatment is working as herbal tinctures are often anti fungal while most western medicines are not, or are so destructive the dead skin actually feeds the yeast/fungus.

  4. Please do update this if only for me as you are not alone and after a year of a shaved head and many natural treatments, the only real cure I've found is to pull the hairs that itch or hurt out (with wispy "baby hairs" that have been blocked attached to the bottom of the jelly layers of cement scalp!). Doctors of course say this is psychological, but I am a researcher

  5. And know that western science has simply failed to answer the question of autoimmune diseases . I believe all the immune response in the hair is caused by a foreign pathogen western medicine does not really deal with - yeast. I'm glad the herbal rinse works - look into more essential oils that are antifungal to add to your regular products. Real aloe gel will completely soak up any clogs, and mineral oil also works to loosen the layers and matted debris. Since it is not organic like other Oils people recommend like sunflower, coconut, etc, the yeast cannot feed on this oil and quickly is released from the skin, with lots of clogs, matted hair, layers of scalp, dried sebum plugs, and yes, my favorite is a bunch of down feathers from m pillow totally matted into a layer of dead scalp. Good luck! Care for yourself, since medical treatment only cares about making the symptom go away.

  8. Hi. Came across your blog. Glad I did. I haven't found anywhere on the web what I do with my hair. I am definitely a picker genetically. Cuticle hell. I recently had the acrylic overlay put on my nails. I don't like it but it's the only thing that keeps me from ripping my bloody cuticles. Ew. Years and years.... Anywho back to my original intent for this post. I don't pull my hair out but I se my finger nails to pop the crunchy part of my hair at the roots. When I say pop, I mean I place the root area between my nails and makes a pop crunch sound. I can find these areas all over my head but mostly in the crown. Prior to this I had several areas of sores which I picked, dermatology appts for 2+ years, biopsies, special expensive shampoos. The entire drill. It's OCD. If there is anything to pick on my body I will find it. Constant manipulation is making hair thinner. Worse it's is my biggest pastime activity. Does anyone do this?
