108 Days

June 9, 2012

Day 108 of shaving my head once a week and using the cortizone 1% cream.  What does this tell you????? 108 days into this new diagnosis.....I'm a little better. My scalp looks a little better on the top of my head, but the stuff is spreading down the sides and the back of my scalp. I also doubt that the whole scalp is actinic keratosis. I have one more doctor to see. What I have starting using which eases the sting and crusty hair is pure coconut oil.  I like using this all over my scalp once or twice a day.  Hopefully you will find what works for you. I'm still seeking.  I know it's related to my activity level that much is for sure.  It takes about twenty minutes each morning for my sleeping scalp to begin sprouting up its crusty "stuff".  When I'm very active, it sprouts up.  When I get anxious, it sprouts up.  Every thing I have done so far has helped me get through the day hoping for a cure.  A cure would be no more sprouting of crusty sticky stuff, no more dirty roots of my hair, no more darkened dirty looking scalp, no more shaving my hair.  HEALED.  I'll be so happy, so grateful to finally be able to say that.
Using all my little tips will help you each day, you will see a change.  Light and Love to you.
